Lu YAN

Biography
Yan Lu, a passionate conservationist dedicate to Endangered Primate conservation in China with special attention to gibbons. Graduated from University College London with Master degree in Conservation. Joined Fauna & Flora International China Programme at the end of 2003 after graduation to start as an administrative assistant, then assisted in species conservation project include Guizhou Snub-nosed Monkey, Francois langur, Hainan gibbon, Tibet antilope, Engdangered Magnolia etc. In 2006, become FFI China Primate Programme Manager. Taking lead in developing cao vit gibbon China-Vietnam transboundary conservation project, Western black crested gibbon conservation network development. She edited several species conservation action plans and public conservation awareness booklets on rainforest biodiversity and Karst biodiversity. Her ideal is effective conservation of population and habitat of engdangered primate in China.
