Margaux YSEBAERT

Biography

Margaux leads the communication efforts of the Protected and Conserved Areas Team, driving projects that connect EU policy with conservation priorities across all territories. Her work spans a wide range of activities, from developing content for the IUCN European Regional Office’s corporate and project channels to monitoring EU policy and media developments. She also contributes to initiatives such as the BESTLIFE2030 Programme and helps coordinate IUCN events in the European Union.

Before joining IUCN, Margaux gained extensive experience in communications, environmental advocacy, and fundraising, working primarily with non-profit organisations. Originally from Belgium, she holds a Master’s degree in Business Communication from the Université Catholique de Louvain.
