Mike BINGLEY

Biography

Mike Bingley is the Director of Education at the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF), where he leads national efforts to connect Canadians with nature through formal, non-formal, and informal learning. With a background in environmental and experiential education and a Master of Education degree, Mike champions innovative approaches that blend science, stewardship, and real-world action.

He is the driving force behind the creation of the Canadian Centre for Nature-Based Education, a national initiative that brings together educators, community organizations, and governments to make nature a foundation of learning for every Canadian. Under his leadership, CWF’s education portfolio—including WILD Education, WILD Spaces, and WILD Outside—has grown into one of the country’s most recognized networks for environmental learning.

Mike’s work reflects a lifelong commitment to helping Canadians understand, value, and care for wildlife and the natural world around them.
