Oluwasooto AJAYI

Oluwasooto Ajayi is the Africa Lead at Business for Nature, where she works with governments, businesses, and partner organizations to advance ambitious action on nature across the continent. Her experience spans several countries in Africa and Europe, grounded in a background across academia, civil society, and international organizations. She previously served as a Communications and Engagement Specialist at the World Economic Forum, Editorial Assistant at the Swiss Society for African Studies and International Students Officer at the University of Bristol. 

She holds a Master’s degree in African Studies from the University of Basel, with specializations in Environment and Development and Media and Imagination. Her career focuses on communication, community management, and capacity building to scale the impact of organizations driving societal change. Passionate about connecting people and ideas, she empowers stakeholders to collaborate on solutions for Africa’s sustainable development.
