Russell GALT

Russell is Head of Science & Natural Capital at Nature Broking, a specialist intermediary dedicated to financing nature’s recovery. He is a member of IUCN’s Commission on Ecosystem Management, the Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy, and the Sports for Nature Advisory Group. He also serves as a Course Director at the IUCN Academy. Russell has previously held senior roles with IUCN, SANBI and ICLEI, and has undertaken consultancies for various UN agencies and international organisations. He holds an Executive MBA and a BSc (Hons) in Ecology from the University of Edinburgh, together with an LLM in Natural Resources Law and Policy from the University of Dundee. He is based in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland.
