Laiser is a passionate natural resource; water, biodiversity, wildlife, wetlands, marine, environmental and agroforestry & Climate Lead/expert in science-policy and decision-making synergies with 22- and 16-years' technical and leadership experience respectively in strengthening Institutional & technical capacities at regional and national capacities. His work primarily focuses on integrating biodiversity conservation with climate resilience and sustainable development. He has successfully mobilized over $2 billion for environmental initiatives and has been instrumental in developing numerous conservation policies and frameworks. Laiser's leadership extends internationally, where he has advocated for sustainable practices and collaborated with various stakeholders, including governments and NGOs. His technical expertise is complemented by a strong academic background, holding a master's degree in environmental sciences. Laiser's commitment to environmental education and community engagement sets him apart in his field. He is currently a Biodiversity and Climate Change Expert at the African Union Commission Supporting 55 African Member States.
