Biography

I am a development professional with over 15 years of experience working with communities across Fiji and the Pacific, specializing in program management, MEAL, and research with a focus on food security, climate-smart agriculture, resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and women’s empowerment. With an academic background in Tropical Agriculture, Horticulture, Climate Change, Theology, and Development, I bring both technical expertise and a values-based approach to my work. Currently serving as a Technical Officer for SOMACORE, I lead initiatives that integrate traditional knowledge with innovative solutions to strengthen community resilience, while also contributing to governance, conservation, and climate adaptation efforts. I am presently completing my Master of Science in Horticulture and pursuing my Master of Arts in Development Studies, reinforcing my commitment to advancing food security and sustainable development in the region.
