Biography

Sam Shaba is the CEO of Honeyguide Foundation since 2024, where he has risen through the organization since joining in 2014. He leads a team of over 50 professionals, proving that community-led conservation is the most efficient and sustainable conservation model. With a background in wildlife management, an MBA for Conservation Leaders, and a passion for technology and innovation, Sam is transforming Africa’s conservation landscape. His approach blends academic expertise with practical field experience to deliver lasting impact for people and landscapes of Tanzania.
