Shibani PADHY

Biography

Shibani Padhy is from Sattvic Soul Foundation, Odisha India, an innovator and Youth advocate, dedicated to building sustainable communities through technology and grassroots action. She is the creator of Project Dolphin, a pioneering machine learning–based system for detecting freshwater plastic waste, recognized by UNICEF. Shibani has designed impactful climate innovations, including large-scale plastic mural arts made from thousands of recycled bottle caps, and has led projects on solid waste management, mangrove restoration, and biodiversity conservation. With her initiatives, she has mobilized over 10,000 youth across India, proving how local innovations can drive global environmental change.
