Shuhel BOSHOR

Biography

Shuhel Boshor is part of the Group Sustainability team at Barclays, working across Banking and Markets to deliver sustainable and transition finance advisory to clients. His work contributes to Barclays’ ambition to facilitate $1 trillion of sustainable and transition financing by 2030, supporting clients on their energy transition journeys across sectors and geographies.

At Barclays, Shuhel also leads several workstreams focused on natural capital, which includes contributing to the firm’s role within the Sustainable Markets Initiative’s Financial Services Task Force (FSTF). This includes advancing industry efforts to scale financing for nature-based solutions and ecosystem protection.

Prior to joining Barclays, Shuhel worked at PIMCO, where he was involved in short-term portfolio management across offices in London, Munich, and Newport Beach. His earlier experience also includes roles in commodities trading, providing him with a broad perspective across financial markets. He is recognised as a member of the Institute of International Finance (IIF) Future Leaders Class of 2023, a global programme celebrating emerging talent in financial services.
