Majee Shupai Stephen (MSc, BSc Hons) is currently the Head of Programs for TSURO Trust, a local community-based organisation supporting farmer-level efforts to realise both biodiversity conservation and livelihood objectives in Zimbabwe's eastern highlands. Drawing on his extensive experience working in and with rural communities (as a teacher, college lecturer, and public agricultural extension services manager), his current role involves designing and implementing community development projects in the areas of Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Management. A passionate trainer and development facilitator, Shupai is driven by his commitment to support poverty-stricken rural communities in identifying and utilising economic opportunities within their areas while taking good care of their natural environments. As a former Mandela Washington Fellow (Kansas State University, USA) with significant regional and international exposure, Shupai is keen to draw, apply, and adapt his key learnings from his international experiences to deliver local solutions modelled to deliver both economic and biodiversity conservation outcomes.
