Biography

Stefanie Lang, Executive Director of Legacy Landscapes Fund

Stefanie has started as executive director for Legacy Landscapes Fund in April 2021. She has a M.A. degree in Social Anthropology and completed a second M.A. degree in leadership and organisational development in 2019. Stefanie has worked for more than 25 years in conservation - in bilateral, multilateral and NGO organisations as well as in the private sector. She lived and worked abroad for 18 years in Jordan, in Latvia, in Belgium, in Eastern Africa and Southeast Asia. Before joining LLF, Stefanie spent about 16 years working for WWF in various positions, latest as country director for Myanmar, and Asia Director and Lead for Organisational Development at WWF Germany.
