Biography

Suleman Audu is a Senior Environmental Manager at The Ocean Cleanup, where he leads strategic initiatives to assess and mitigate the environmental and social impacts of plastic pollution on marine ecosystems and coastal communities. He holds a Master of Science in Urban Water and Sanitation with a specialization in Sanitary Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. With extensive expertise in environmental impact assessment and policy development, Suleman has conducted numerous assessments across diverse contexts and contributed to the formulation of environmental policies, guidelines, and standards globally, making him a recognized expert in translating complex environmental challenges into actionable management strategies for marine environmental protection.
