Biography

Sumin George Thomas is Senior Programme Coordinator at Keystone Foundation, where he co-leads the Biodiversity Programme and guides organisation development, governance, and grants management. With over 20 years of experience in conservation, he has contributed to programmes on eco-restoration, human–wildlife interactions, biodiversity monitoring, and community-based initiatives. His work centres on engaging Indigenous and local communities, advancing community ownership, consent, and governance over natural resources, and ensuring equitable access, while fostering inclusive and gender-sensitive approaches across conservation programmes.
