Suzi is the Head of the International Environment Branch in the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. In that role, she is responsible for international strategy, policy and programs and engagement in a range of multilateral and regional agreements and bodies including relating to the ocean and migratory species. Suzi is Australia’s Commissioner to the International Whaling Commission, and the former Australian sous Sherpa to the High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Korean language and culture from the University of Queensland, and a Master of Science in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford.
