Tania has an extensive experience in the design, implementation, technical assistance, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean as well as in other parts of the world. She has extensive experience in the forest sector, agriculture and rural development. She took part of external evaluations of international organizations dealing with biodiversity, environment and agriculture, including IUCN. During more than 20 years in Central America, she lead the coordination of several regional projects in community forest management, agroforestry, territorial development, knowledge management and the development of value chains focusing on the financial, social, ecological and institutional sustainability. She has experience and skills working on field projects, in team building and negotiating projects and agreements with organizations and international cooperation. Tania Ammour, a French citizen, is an Economist and obtained the Specialized Graduate Diploma (3rd cycle) in Agricultural Development at the IEDES (Institut d ‘Etudes pour le Développement Economique et Social) - INA (Institut National Agronomique de Paris) - Université de la Sorbonne, Paris, France.
