Thanatat ANIWAT

Biography

Thanatat Aniwat is a sustainability and social impact professional with over a decade of experience leading high-impact programs across the corporate and non-profit sectors. As Sustainability Manager at TCP Group, he oversees a USD 1.4 million annual budget and drives the company’s sustainability framework, including initiatives on water replenishment, circular economy, extended producer responsibility (EPR), community forest and sustainability reporting.

Previously, at the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage, Thanatat managed large-scale reforestation and social enterprise projects — restoring 40,000 hectares of degraded land, transforming economic forestry operations, and empowering more than 800 farmers to become entrepreneurs. His work has spanned cross-border health interventions in Shan State, Myanmar, establishing mobile medical units and training village health volunteers, sustainable alternative livelihood development. Boosting immunity for villagers addressing regional drug problems and collaborations with UNHCR and UNODC on community resilience and refugee support.

Certified in Nature-based Solutions for Disaster and Climate Resilience (UNEP/PEDRR), Thanatat brings a unique blend of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and on-the-ground execution to advance climate action, ESG, and sustainable development.
