Thierry Lefebvre is a biodiversity policy and protected areas governance expert with 20+ years of international experience. With advanced degrees in sustainable development and anthropology, and a dual background in life and social sciences, he has expertise in monitoring biodiversity policies, evaluating protected area systems, and building knowledge management tools aligned with IUCN standards. Having worked for more than a decade within IUCN, Thierry Lefebvre is leading the Green List Programme globally, driving its strategic development and implementation. A French national, Thierry is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
