Vincent AWOTWE-PRATT

Biography

Vincent Awotwe-Pratt is a conservation leader and sustainable development strategist serving as Director of Technical Operations at Advocates for Biodiversity Conservation (ABC), a Ghanaian IUCN member organization. With over a decade of experience in biodiversity conservation, forest landscape restoration, and climate-resilient livelihoods, he has led numerous multi-stakeholder initiatives across Ghana’s cocoa-growing regions, coastal wetlands, and forest reserves.

Vincent’s work integrates science, policy, and community knowledge to drive impactful programs in bamboo agroforestry, cocoa value addition, blue carbon assessment, and youth- and women-led entrepreneurship. He has collaborated with global and local partners, and currently leads ABC’s program design and strategy. As a passionate advocate for nature-based solutions and environmental justice, Vincent brings a systems-thinking approach to ecosystem governance, restoration finance, and inclusive green growth across West Africa.
