Yassir HAMDAN AL KHARUSI

I am Yassir Hamdan Al Kharusi, working at Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi (EAD) as a wildlife monitoring and assessment specialist.  I conduct wildlife baseline surveys in Abu Dhabi protected areas covering the Arabian Oryx and other terrestrial mammal species. I am also the coordinator of the General Secretariat for the Conservation of the Arabian Oryx (GSCAO) which is a regional initiative with a key role of supporting all efforts to protect and conserve the Arabian Oryx, to agree on regional criteria and standards, and to coordinate efforts between range states. I am also involved in rangeland management and conservation in Abu Dhabi.
