I am a reproductive biologist of giant pandas from Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China. I have been engaged in research on giant panda breeding for more than 20 years and have made significant contributions to the establishment of self-sustaining populations of giant pandas. In the past 10 years, I have also been engaged in research on giant panda stem cells and successfully reprogrammed giant panda fibroblasts into induced pluripotent stem cells, which will provide significant assistance for the clinical treatment of giant panda diseases.
