Descripción de la sesión
The planned session aims to present innovative approaches and cutting-edge knowledge on transboundary biodiversity conservation in conflict-affected regions, with a focus on youth-driven transformative leadership and innovation. The primary goal is to support young leaders, scientists, policymakers, practitioners, and relevant stakeholders in advancing opportunities for peacebuilding, transboundary conservation, research, and monitoring. During the session, we plan to host 3–4 panelists who will introduce key topics, current trends, and success stories. This will be followed by interactive group work on real-world cases, specifically protected areas affected by the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, using a "World Café" format. Participants will have the opportunity to actively contribute and discuss multiple ideas that could be applied to other similar regions.Moderator
