Session Description
As COP30 approaches in Belém, Indigenous Peoples are not just stakeholders but essential leaders of the climate and biodiversity agenda. Their territories sustain critical ecosystems, and their governance and knowledge offer proven pathways for adaptation and sustainability. This dialogue convenes Indigenous leaders, youth, donors, and partners to set COP30 priorities, with a focus on strengthening partnerships—such as ENACT—that deliver practical tools, political leverage, and financing for Indigenous-led action. Without such alliances, Indigenous priorities risk being sidelined in negotiations. Showcasing leadership from Brazil, the Andes, and the Pacific, the session will elevate youth perspectives and link political commitments, partnerships, and donor engagement to drive concrete outcomes in Belém.Organised by
