Session Description

This pavilion event will showcase the key lessons, opportunities, and actionable recommendations emerging from the BIOPAMA programme’s work in the Caribbean. It will explore how BIOPAMA has supported capacity development, improved policy and governance frameworks, and promoted inclusive approaches to conservation. Key speakers from regional institutions and government bodies will share their experiences, highlighting what has worked and where challenges remain. The session aims to inspire reflection, dialogue, and uptake of practical solutions that can strengthen protected area management and biodiversity governance at national and regional levels.
