Why attend

Join a dynamic high-level panel showcasing real success stories of regenerative agriculture in Africa, where farmers, policymakers, and partners reveal innovative Nature-based Solutions that boost food security, income, and ecosystem resilience while highlighting investment opportunities and practical models ready to scale across the continent.

Session Description

This high-level panel will explore how regenerative agriculture and Nature-based Solutions can accelerate Africa’s transition toward sustainable food systems. Bringing together farmers, policymakers, researchers, private sector actors, and development partners, the session will showcase on-the-ground success stories and delivery models that integrate regenerative actions into farming systems, enhancing nutrition, income, and ecosystem resilience. Discussions will highlight practical approaches that are replicable and adaptable across the continent, while also pointing to investment opportunities that can drive impact at scale. With perspectives from IUCN Members, Commissions, government representatives, and partners from Eastern and Southern Africa, West and Central Africa, and the Mediterranean, the event will foster knowledge exchange and actionable insights. Participants will leave with concrete examples of regenerative agriculture in practice, a clearer understanding of enabling policy frameworks, and connections to networks that can amplify ongoing investments in nature-positive rural transformation.
