Why attend
Explore the mutual benefits and trade-offs between agricultural productivity and biodiversity conservation; lessons from successful case studies; actionable strategies to promote sustainable agricultural practices
Session Description
The proposed event at the IUCN Asia Pavilion will adopt the IUCN’s Common Ground Dialogue approach to convene a diverse group of stakeholders—including policymakers, practitioners, and representatives from IUCN members, particularly from India and Vietnam. The focus will be on sharing experiences and insights into sustainable agricultural practices that both support and benefit from biodiversity within a multifunctional landscape. This event will build on the discussions initiated at the Regional Conservation Forum (RCF) and serve as a follow-up to deepen engagement. Similar sessions are being planned across other regional office pavilions, with the outcomes to be synthesized and presented at a culminating event during the WCC.
