Virtual Channel 4 , Online only
Session with interpretation

Why attend

This session will engage with participants on:
- how Living Labs are providing bottom up and inclusive approaches to policy development and agriculture impact monitoring on climate change and biodiversity through Europe,
- what early conclusions are available for policy making within the current European framework,
- how to leverage these recommendations?

Session Description

The session introduces two European funded Living Labs projects Eco-ready and Climate Farm Demo,
building on a network of pilot farmers who will implement and demonstrate climate-smart solutions for a carbon-neutral Europe, ensuring food security and biodiversity preservation.
These Living Labs unique and innovative methodologies provide essential bottom up approaches in terms of policy recommendations for agriculture, climate change and biodiversity management at farm level and higher levels. Lessons learned from the implementation of the LL approach will then inform scale-up and future multi-actor partnerships for climate-smart innovation and application.
In a second time, the panel will open the floor to break out groups with different questions to the audience regarding feedbacks on policy recommendations processes, identified impacts, barriers and key contributions for dissemination leverage.
