Comme explore and discuss global-to-local NbS implementation through tailored tools, fostering effective evaluation and action across contexts.
Session Description
This session aims to share with other IUCN committees and stakeholders the experience of the IUCN French Committee in developing and using a support tool for the design and evaluation of NbS in France, covering its initial objectives, methodology, and outcomes.The session will also position this work within a broader context, highlighting other ongoing efforts at the international and national levels, like the work done by the China NbS Hub and the creation of the African NbS Hub. The session will provide an opportunity to discuss the application of such tools in other regions, as well as the creation of customized solutions for specific actors and ecosystems, such as protected area managers.
Additionally, the introduction of the session will include the release the updated version of the global standard and the self-assessment.
