Session Description
Unlocking investment for circular plastics requires both financial innovation and policy clarity. Yet, insufficient knowledge of de-risking mechanisms, limited catalytic funding, and an underdeveloped project pipeline make it difficult to scale solutions. This session will bring together policymakers, investors, and sustainability leaders to explore financing models and fiscal incentives that can create an enabling environment for investment. We will also look beyond the plastics sector—examining proven financial mechanisms and de-risking solutions from other industries, such as renewable energy and sustainable agriculture, to identify strategies that can be tailored to the plastic pollution crisis. Join us to uncover how concessional capital, green fiscal incentives, and structured public-private partnerships can accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
