Session Description
Coral reefs are disappearing at an unprecedented rate, yet they remain vital to coastal resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable livelihoods. This panel explores how disruptive technologies, regenerative design, and hospitality-led stewardship can be harnessed to restore reef ecosystems at scale.Through the lens of Ocean Revive’s Reef Estate™ model, Dubai Reef visionary urban-marine integration, and Jumeirah’s leadership in biodiversity restoration in the tourism sector, speakers will discuss scalable innovations, financing models, and real-world case studies from the Gulf region and beyond. The session will also spotlight opportunities for cities, resorts, and developers to become frontline actors in ocean regeneration.
