Session Description
This session explores how vulnerable coastal communities can respond to the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and social vulnerability. Drawing on lessons from the ReSea project in the Western Indian Ocean and other initiatives, the event will highlight inclusive, community-driven approaches to climate resilience. Through expert presentations, breakout discussions, and audience engagement, participants will co-identify key learnings on operationalizing the climate-nature-people nexus for coastal areas. The outcomes will inform a lessons-learned document to support scalable, regenerative solutions in coastal areas.Organized by
