Amreesh Chandra
As a son to educationist parents who pioneered Gorakhpur’s first ICSE English-medium school in 1978, I was nurtured in an environment of service and visionary leadership. I practice a deep sense of gratitude and a responsibility to carry forward their legacy of empowering teachers and students communities with quality education. This service to community is the foundation of my work, I have dedicated my life to reimagining education as a tool for societal transformation. An economics teacher by calling and an education campaigner by passion, I have conceptualized global initiatives under CEL (Chandra EduLinks) creating avenues for collaborative learning and sustainable development. My work has taken me to international forums like the House of Commons, Peace One, and the London School of Economics, where I’ve advocated for innovative educational frameworks. I am humbled to be recognized as ‘Freeman to the city of London’, ‘Global Leader for SDGs’, and ‘SDG Man of India’, I have prioritized integrating the UN SDGs into education and community development. At The House of MOSAIC, my vision is to co-create a culture of sustainability in our communities developing meaningful partnerships across various stakeholders to make sustainable and social impact for a greener tomorrow.
