Biography
Cecilia is a biologist, with master in Ecology and PhD in Environmental Sciences. With two decades of experience working at Chico Mendes Institute for the Conservation of Biodiversity, has focused her career in scientific research and biodiversity monitoring in protected areas. Currently, Cecilia is General Coordinator for Biodiversity Monitoring and Research at ICMBio's headquarters, where she leads the national monitoring program, "Programa Monitora", led in federal protected areas in Brazil.
