Dr. Chloé Orland is an ecologist specializing in the impacts of climate and environmental change on biodiversity and vulnerable populations. She is currently the Ecology Advisor at Action Against Hunger, where she supports the design of programs that integrate biodiversity, climate resilience, and reduced environmental impacts, while addressing the root causes of hunger. She holds a PhD in Ecology from the University of Cambridge and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has published extensively, has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring students, and also serves on the JR Biotek Foundation, which works to strengthen the capacities and training of African researchers in food security.
