David RAMOS

David Ramos is a Senior Manager in Sustainability for HSBC Bank Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. From November 2022 to June 2024 he was Acting Head of Sustainability for the region while the Regional Head was seconded into COP28. He has nearly 20 years of working experience as a sustainability practitioner, having worked in consultancy companies linked to sectors as chemical, manufacturing and working closely with the public administration and governmental bodies. He has also worked in a complex supply chain environment in a fashion leading multinational in Spain, where he initiated their sustainability programme. He has now worked in the Finance sector in Middle East for ten years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences by the University of Cordoba (Spain) and a he took a Master’s Degree in International Environmental Sciences by the LUND University (Sweden).
