Elisa FACCHINI

Biography

Elisa Facchini is a Programme Officer with the Species Conservation Action Team at IUCN Headquarters. She works on the Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme (ITHCP), a grant-making initiative that supports large-scale projects in critical Tiger Conservation Landscapes across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, and Thailand. Before joining IUCN, Elisa worked with Istituto Oikos in Myanmar, where she managed a conservation project in Lampi Marine National Park, in the Myeik Archipelago. Her experience also includes supporting education and community empowerment programmes in Nepal, as well as coordinating the development of project proposals for non-profit organizations. Elisa holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies.
