Heloise HEYER

Biography

Heloise Heyer brings over 15 years of experience at the intersection of peacebuilding, international cooperation, and organisational development. She works with civil society, governments, and multilateral actors navigating complex and often conflict-affected contexts.

At the PeaceNexus Foundation, a Swiss private foundation, she leads the Conflict Sensitivity portfolio, providing small grants and tailored accompaniment to international humanitarian and environmental organisations. She also advices and facilitates learning on support to local civil society in West Africa, the Western Balkans, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Heloise initiated and currently oversees the Foundation’s first environmental peacebuilding small grant mechanism, to help conservation and climate actors operate more effectively in conflict-affected contexts and support social cohesion through and in support of their environmental goals.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from the European Inter-University Centre and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Sciences Po.
