Naomi Leleto is a passionate global voice for Indigenous Peoples-led philanthropy. With over 20 years of grounded experience working alongside grassroots communities across the Global South, and six years leading transformative participatory grantmaking, she uplifts pathways rooted in Indigenous self-determination, healing, and care for the Earth. In her current role at Global Greengrants Fund, Naomi serves as the Global Coordinator for Indigenous Peoples Grantmaking, where she amplifies collective wisdom and advances inclusive funding strategies that respect the rights, knowledge, and leadership of Indigenous communities worldwide. She is also a Board Member at the International Funders for Indigenous Peoples (IFIP) , the Urgent Action Fund- Africa and advisor at the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples, contributing to global philanthropic spaces that center Indigenous values, sovereignty, and solidarity. Naomi holds a Master’s degree in Legal Studies from the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program at the James E. Rogers College of Law, University of Arizona.
