Odile CONCHOU

Biography

Currently Nature Senior Advisor to the Executive Management of the Sustainable Development Solutions Direction at the French Development Agency (AFD), Odile CONCHOU has over 35 years of experience in the field of environment and biodiversity in various organizations. She has notably served as Deputy Director of the High Ambition Coalition for Nature and People (Washington DC), Nature Finance Lead at UNCBD (Montréal Canada), Head of the ESG and Impacts Department at Proparco (AFD’s private sector arm), Environmental Consultant, General Secretary of the French Association of Ecological Engineers and biodiversity researcher in France and Germany.

She holds a PhD in Ecology from the University of Toulouse and the French National Center of Scientific Research.
