Paulina KARIM

Biography

Paulina has PhD in Landscape Conservation and Community Participation and Master Degree in Environmental Sciences; currently works as a post-doctoral researcher at the College of Environmental Studies and Oceanography, National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan. Paulina’s research interests include integrated landscape and seascape approaches, adaptive co-management of protected areas and OECMs, community-based monitoring and evaluation, the Satoyama Initiative. Paulina is a commission member of IUCN/WCPA and an IPBES fellow for the “Thematic assessment of the interlinkages among biodiversity, water, food and health” (the Nexus Assessment).
