I am a laureate of the National Forest School of Engineers, promotion 2006, option Ecology and Natural Resources Management and since that time I have developed my career in the field of nature conservation and protection through the positions I held notably the management of the Dakhla National Park and the Partnership Service for the Conservation and Development of Natural Resources. This professional path has allowed me to benefit from a lot of training related to my profile and to participate in the setting up, studies and implementation of projects related to natural resources in general and protected areas in particular. I have 18 years of experience at the High Commission for Water, Forests and Desertification Control focused on the management of protected and conserved areas and the mobilization of partners, particularly at the level of protected spaces. In 2018, I had the opportunity to be a member at the national level of the Expert Assessment Group for the Green List (EAGL) for the Maghreb, which gave me access to training on the IUCN Green List standard, its generic indicators and its user manual. In my opinion, it is a very important component of truly professionalizing training, allowing good integration into the green list reference group. It is also about opening my horizons, by meeting other practitioners of protected and conserved areas. In 2024, I participated in the evaluation of the protected areas of Saudi Arabia, notably the King Salman Royal Nature Reserve, the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve and the Uruq Bani Ma'Arid Protected Area, while integrating the Expert Assessment Group for the Green List (EAGL) MEWA.
