Ana NIETO SERRADILLA

Biography

Ana Nieto is Global Head, Species Conservation Action at IUCN. She is responsible for the delivery of conservation action for threatened species through an approach centred on Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs), particularly through grant-making and capacity development of civil society.

She has more than 20 years of professional experience working for international environmental organisations. Previously, Ana worked at the IUCN Regional Office for Europe (Brussels), ECNC-European Centre for Nature Conservation (the Netherlands), EUCC–The Coastal Union (the Netherlands) and for the European Environment Agency. Ana holds a MSc in Environmental Science/Environmental Management.
