Kristen Walker Painemilla is Senior Vice President of Inclusive Finance at Conservation International, where she drives global strategies to scale direct access finance for Indigenous Peoples and local communities. With over 25 years of experience linking human rights, governance, and finance to conservation, she also serves as Chair of IUCN’s Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP). Kristen is widely recognized for advancing rights-based, community-led conservation and shaping global policy to strengthen equity in the conservation sector.
