- 2008 to date. Executive Director of the Foundation for the Conservation of Natural Resources and Environment in Guatemala (FCG), the managing entity of the Fund for the Conservation of Tropical Forests, the result of a $24 million debt swap between the United States of America and Guatemala
- From 2008 to 2016. Treasurer of the Board of Directors of MARFUND
- 2000-2008. Executive Manager of the National Fund for the Conservation of Nature (FONACON) of Guatemala, and, on its behalf, member of the Steering Committee of the Network of Environmental Funds of Latin America and the Caribbean -REDLAC-
- 1990-2000. Project Assistant and General Manager of the Mario Dary Rivera Foundation for the Conservation of the Environment and Natural Resources (FUNDARY), at that time co-administrator of the Special Protection Area, currently the Punta de Manabique Wildlife Refuge, a coastal marine protected area located in the Guatemalan Caribbean, by whose legal declaration by the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala, arduous lobbying work was carried out before the National Council of Protected Areas and the Congress of the Republic, among other entities
