Sarah Amy WYATT

Biography

Sarah Wyatt is a Senior Biodiversity Specialist at the Global Environment Facility (GEF). At the GEF, she leads work with Latin American and Pacific island countries to develop biodiversity conservation projects including park management, sustainable agriculture and fisheries, and addressing invasive species. She also coordinates the GEF’s engagement with Indigenous Peoples and local communities.

Sarah previously worked for Conservation International and the IUCN as well as conducted conservation research in Costa Rica and Colombia with a small NGO. She holds a Master of Environmental Science degree with a focus on conservation biology and policy from the Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Government from the College of William & Mary. She is an avid hiker and diver.
